I think I’m on a mild upswing of bipolar disorder pretty much constantly. I’d love to have no ideas for a little while… I have to keep a notepad next to my bed or I’ll get frustrated when I can’t remember all of the damn ideas I had through the night.

Good website; there are too few sites that look at the mechanics of humor writing and too many trying to do humor writing without a grasp of the mechanics.

March of the Undead is a particularly groovy image, by the way.

The Count does not suffer from the effects of being bipolar, but he does know how true it is that having too many choices can put effort on hold, and create misery. It paralyzies, at times, everyone in creative work who has talent, and observes this merry-go-round. The only people known to be immune are, of course, politicians.

Glad to see you’re back. I just found your site recently and enjoyed it, but was concerned that you hadn’t posted for awhile might indicate a dead blog.

Your description of bipolar sounds like me . I go through the same phases. Yikes…
